For dentists & practices

One local lab. The technical depth of sixteen.

When you choose to work with a TEREC member, you're choosing one local lab backed by a wealth of technical experience and industry research to provide leading-edge products for you and your patients.

The advantage

An unbiased source on what's actually working

Because of our size and reach, manufacturers rely on TEREC to test the newest products and systems. In turn, we provide you an unbiased source for information about new materials, services and techniques for your practice.

While we're proud to be leaders in the industry, we remain committed to your practice and your patients. Your case is handled by a regional, independently owned laboratory — the same lab, in your own market, that you deal with directly.

A dental practitioner uses a handheld intraoral scanner while a colleague observes the live scan data on a chairside monitor.

Independently owned, and local to you

Every member is an independent laboratory serving its own region. Your relationship stays with that lab and the people who run it.

Open exchange between members

Members are expected to share operating and technical information openly and in detail, and a standing confidentiality agreement protects what is said.

Candor behind the conclusions

Members operate under a confidentiality agreement, so they discuss real data, real constraints and real failures — which is what makes the group's technical conclusions worth something.

What that means for your cases

Your lab's technical decisions are pressure-tested by its peers

The group meets on a structured cycle several times a year, and part of that cycle is given over to evaluating materials, equipment and digital workflows — including facility visits and working sessions with manufacturers.

Technology evaluation, quality of execution and reducing remakes are explicit areas of focus for the group's Manufacturing pillar. When your lab weighs a new material or a change to a digital workflow, that decision has been examined by laboratories running the same work in other markets.
